Quy Nhon Hotels
The town of Quy Nhon is situated southeast of the province of Binh Dinh. Quy Nhon shares its borders with the East coast, Tuy Phuoc district, Tuy Phuoc and Phu Cat districts, and the districts of Song Cau in the Phu Yen province. The total area of Quy Nhon is 215 sq km and it is said to have been born almost 100 years ago. Historically speaking Quy Nhon was developed as a major town during the period of the Tay Son dynasty.
This seaside town is the cradle of the Martial arts of Vietnam and the local theater known as Tuong. There was a time when Quy Nhon was the trade center of Vietnam and trade exchanges were made with China. The ancient capital was Cham Tra Ban from 1000 to 1471 and today it is situated only 26km away from Quy Nhon. Quy Nhon is famous all over the world for a different type of local product – a bird’s nest.
Some of the other great places to visit in Quy Nhon include the Banh It tower, which is situated 25 km away from the town. It has 4 towers known as the Silver Towers or the Thap Bac. The central tower stands at a height of 22m. You can get a spectacular panoramic view of the countryside from any of the towers. Another similar tower is the Duong Long Towers situated at a distance of 50km from Quy Nhon. This tower is also known as the ivory towers or Thap Nga.
