The town of Qui Nhon is situated on the South eastern side of the Binh Dinh province. There are 4 villages spread over an area of 215 sq km and it was born almost 100 years back. Basically Qui Nhon is a new town but historically, it can be dated way back to the 11th century when the Champa culture and Tay Son dynasty existed. The modern Qui Nhon has a rapidly developing infrastructure, a prominent and strategic seaport and varied landscape. The landscape changes from mountains and forests to salt marshes, lakes, lagoons and rivers. There is plenty of natural beauty in this town that supports the tourism influx. There are a few beaches here, which are rarely crowded and if you are looking for some relaxation and peace then you will certainly find it along the white sandy beach shores. One of the best beaches is called the Municipal Beach. Another nice place you can visit is the Long Khahn pagoda, which is situated close to the Tran Cao Van Street. You can reach Qui Nhon by road or by air. If you are traveling through Qui Nhon then it is best to travel by road but if your holiday destination is Qui Nhon then you can take a Vietnam Airlines flight from the Ho Chi Minh City airport.
