Phu Quoc Hotels
The Phu Quoc Island is situated on the southern side of Cambodia and is an island that falls under Vietnam. Till a few years back, the island of Phu Quoc was hardly known to tourists. It was in fact famous among the locals because of the tasty fish sauce made here. In the last decade or so, tourism has developed rapidly with more and more visitors coming to this island to get a share of their sun, sand, beaches and fish sauce. Phu Quoc today has some of the best resorts on its beaches and some stunningly beautiful and comfortable bungalows from where you can witness a glorious sunset.
The island of Phu Quoc is triangular in shape and the biggest beach here is called the Long beach. It is spread over 5 miles and at the end of the beach lies the town of Duong Dong. Some of the cleaner, famous and white sandy beaches in Phu Quoc is located around the eastern side of the island and the most famous beaches include the Bai Sao and the Bai Dan beaches. Another unspoilt beach lies northwest from here and is called the Ganh Dau beach. The island is surrounded by pristine blue water and spectacular beaches on all the sides but at the center of the island lies pepper fields, verdant rainforests, the meandering Suo Da Ban River and the many mesmerizing waterfalls caused by the river.
You can reach Phu Quoc by air from Ho Chi Minh or from Rach Gia. Alternatively, you can take the ferry from Rach Gia to An Thoi.
