Vietnam is a country that has sublime natural settings like the Mekong Delta, the Red River Delta, a scenic coastal strip and men and women wearing conical hats and working in rice and paddy fields. The weather in Vietnam can vary from region to region. So if it is raining in North Vietnam then it will be perfectly sunny in South Vietnam.
Some of the places to see in Vietnam include Dalat, Dien Bien Phu, Ha Tien, Hanoi, Halong Bay, and Ho Chi Minh City. The Ba Be National Park is a great crowd puller and consists of a dense tropical rainforest over 56,800 acres. The Ba Be National Park has everything a tourist or an adventure seeker can ask for. It has numerous waterfalls, lakes, deep valleys and caves built somewhere in the heart of the mighty mountains. Another popular place is the Cu Dai Beach. It is probably one of the biggest or longest beaches in Asia with a 30km long palm fringed shoreline, and powdery white sand. Sea food is hugely popular on the beach.
One of the prominent features is the Thien Hau pagoda dedicated to the Chinese Goddess of the sea – Thien Hau. It is normally open from 6am to 5:30pm. Of course if you are visiting Vietnam, you can’t miss out on the 3000 odd islands near the Halong Bay. Halong Bay is home to emerald waters and numerous lagoons that offer everything from a cool swim to a deep sea diving lesson.
